DHEAN,NEWS JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning Suharso Monoarfa attended and delivered a speech on Integration of Budget Management in the Regions Webinar, Tuesday (23/11/2021). This webinar is organized by the National Corruption Prevention Team.
"One part of bureaucratic reform in an effort to prevent corruption is through the integration of regions planning and budgeting," said the Minister.
The Minister said that the 2020-2024 RPJMN targets the integration of the regional government planning and budgeting system to be realized by the end of 2022.
"Expanding the use of an electronic-based government system in the field of integrated regional financial management is also one of the national priority targets that will be implemented in all regions in 2024," he added.
According to him, this target should be used as a reference for joint work for the Central Government and Regional Governments.
The Minister also said that currently, Bappenas together with the KPK, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and several related Ministries and Institutions have been working on implementing the integration of planning and budgeting systems in regional governments.
"In the future, the integration of regions planning and budgeting is expected to support the integration process between the Central Government and Regional Governments no later than 2 years from now," said the Minister.
The Minister hopes that realizing the integration of planning and budgeting between stakeholders can improve the quality of government spending to eliminate overlapping activities in handling an issue.
